Did Anna Wintour Just Kick Her Unshakeable style Up a Notch?
We think she did.

Some people's way of dressing is so uniform that any variance in their outfits is measured in shades of "slightly better" or "slightly less good." For Anna Wintour, Thursday was a day of imperceptible improvement.
The Vogue editor tends to wear the same shapes day in and day out while switching up the patterns, and we have to say, we were really loving her print play at Versace during Milan Fashion Week. There was a pleasant amount of texture going on in this look: The Prada coat with its gold trim, paired with a red lacy dress (she wore the same one at Burberry) and some neck bling. With its rich tones, whole thing was actually pretty fun and glamorous — this being the very restrained side of glamour.
We also have to commend Ms. Wintour for swapping out her beloved Manolo slingbacks for some close-toed pumps. That may be the biggest coup of them all.
